Let your heart/mind speak.
(from Oct. 13, 2022)
Hey,
It's been a while!
I'm coming toward the end of a creative leading: I wrote and compiled a collection of 365 poems, all from my heart/mind. It took me close to three years to complete. It was a labor of love.
Initially I had the idea to create and publish a book, now I'm not sure that's important to me. Maybe I'll share them in some other way, or maybe I won't share them at all. For now, I'm relishing the satisfaction of following the creative leading, born from my heart/mind, all the way through to its natural fruition.
It feels good to hold it to myself for a while. I've been reading through these sourced words and phrases, tracing back moments in time and reflecting on all these many bits of felt wisdom, moments when my heart/mind was expressing something through images, emotions and sensations in my body, that at the time rung of deep truth. I've been referring to these creations as #wisdompoems and #nuggetsofwisdom. Few moments I remember vividly, some vaguely, some not at all.
Regardless of the extent to which I remember them now, these moments of truth have the potential to shape our lives. When noticed and allowed to exist they have the potential to guide us to what is most important, life-giving, essential and sustaining to ourselves, and also to all others. I wholeheartedly believe this.
Anytime we listen to true self and give it the care it requires,
we do so not only for ourselves but for the many others whose lives we touch.

In any moment your body/mind has a nugget of wisdom ready and waiting for you. All you need to do is stop, feel and listen.
Below are some prompts you can use to call your wisdom forward. Take a moment to get still, perhaps take a few breaths and ask:
What to I need to pay attention to right now?
What would nourish me right now?
What would be helpful for me to let go of right now?
What supports my energy right now?
What feels like medicine right now?
What is most essential right now?
What wisdom message is bubbling up for you, right now? Feel free to share.
